Chai recipe
Ingredients:
- 500ml milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon tea leaves or to your taste
- 4 cups water
- Sugar to taste
- Spices: Cinnamon. ginger (optional)
Directions
- Put the milk and the water into a sufuria and add the tea leaves. If you want spiced tea. add the spices together with the tea leaves in order to get their true taste
- Bring to boil. When the milk begins to rise, decrease the heat and use a spoon to stir until the tea is strong enough for your taste.
- Add sugar to your taste and stir.
- Alternatively you can leave out sugar for your guests to add to their liking.
- Sieve the tea into a thermos or kettle and serve immediately.
