Chai recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500ml milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon tea leaves or to your taste
  • 4 cups water
  • Sugar to taste
  • Spices: Cinnamon. ginger (optional)

Directions

  • Put the milk and the water into a sufuria and add the tea leaves. If you want spiced tea. add the spices together with the tea leaves in order to get their true taste
  • Bring to boil. When the milk begins to rise, decrease the heat and use a spoon to stir until the tea is strong enough for your taste.
  • Add sugar to your taste and stir.
  • Alternatively you can leave out sugar for your guests to add to their liking.
  • Sieve the tea into a thermos or kettle and serve immediately.
