MY EXPERIENCE

I reported to work as usual since my EDD was 2 week away. I was feeling extremely tired that day and I could feel weak CONTRACTIONS. As the day proposed, the contractions became stronger and regular and I decided to see my doctor who on examination told me I had dilated 2 cms and I was immediately admitted. The doctor advised me that walking helps to shorten the labour and also helps the baby to get engaged.

I worked up and down the hospital and I coped well with the labour pains. Our son Justin Mbiruru was born at 12.59 am weighing 3.5 kgs on 14th August 08. I thank God for taking me through safe pregnancy and delivery.
