Esther Wahome’s New Baby takes his first bath

This is a legacy edition story. True stories of past pregnancies in yester days (or years), as published in Pregnant Magazine.

Just 2 hours after his birth

MY EXPERIENCE
The last month I became so dark in complexion, that I overheard people saying I resembled Esther Wahome.

I had terrible heartburn, and occasional swelling of the feet plus a puffy face. I never got that big and anyone would have thought I was six months pregnant.

I had a craving for whole tilapia fish which i ate almost daily.  I was active enough to present the TV programme ‘shangilia’ till the last week.

On 29th September, I went for my normal ante-natal clinics and the doctor detected some problems, and I was admitted immediately for induction.

Labour was as painful as can be, but I coped well with the help of my husband who was with me in labour ward as well as delivery room.

The nurses and doctors at Aghakhan Hospital were also very supportive and caring. On 30thSept, at 1.46pm, our lovely boy weighing 3.2 kg was born.

We give God all the glory!!

ESTHER WAHOME
