Mary Wavinya in Celebration!

My Experience – Wavinya

I was admitted on 5th October at Kenyatta National Hospital private wing. I was already booked for Caesarean because my doctor Gichuru Kamau didn’t want to take chances with the baby coz of the experience of the first boy. It was an emergency caesarean. I was booked at the theatre on Saturday the 6th of October at 8 a.m and they started the operation much later but everyone was so nice to me making me feel as comfortable as I could. When I finally saw the baby, he was so small, weighing 2.5 kg, another boy!

I wanted a girl but its okay. I love my boy. He looks like an angel and I will love them both. The wound left behind was painful, a permanent scar but it’s worth ‘ma’ two boys.

Mary Wavinya enjoys first moments with baby Javan Kitengela, born on 6th October 2007 at 8.00 a.m.
