I think it’s amazing that 1/3 of women over 40 can get pregnant naturally. I think it’s exciting because over the past few years, articles on fertility have been scaring younger women into thinking they’ve got to have kids in their 20’s. They talk about steep declines infertility, without mentioning that there’s still a 33% chance of getting pregnant in your 40s’ This may explain state of the top groups of American women to get abortions are over 4O. If more people knew that 33% of women over 40 can get pregnant naturally, perhaps they’d be more careful!

44 year old woman gives birth to 18th child
A 44-year-old woman from Telsiai, Western Lithuania, gave birth to her 18th child, a miracle doctors said they do nor see often.

According to a Lithuanian daily newspaper Lietuvos Zinios,Danut a Bagociene was highly concerned about her 18th pregnancy and feared it would he difficult for her and the baby. Nevertheless, the baby boy weighed 3.7 kilograms at birth and was heavier than Bagociene’s other new borns and eleven daughters. Her oldest son Irinijus, is now 28.
