Stand for your life

Standing up lessens your likelihood of dying in the next three years. According to research, those who stay seated for more than 10 hours a day have 40 per cent chances of succumbing to illnesses in three years.

Cardiovascular disease, which causes deaths of more than 16 million people in the world, has been associated with this kind of inactivity. So, watch the time you spend seated in front of your computer, your TV or behind your steering wheel; as they can easily add up to more than 10 hours.

Growing up and fertility
You have just made the decision to get pregnant and may be wondering whether you can? Do not stress too much. It is only about six per cent of women in their 30s who are infertile, research shows. When you get to your 40’s your chances of not getting pregnant are increased by only one per cent.

Tired in the morning? Drink your water
A night of pregnancy discomfort or a lot of love may make waking up in the morning a chore. Research says, a glass of water with a dash of lemon will give you a refreshing detox, restoring the bounce in your gait.
