In Pregnant Issue 9, we mis-spelt the names of Mrs. Elizabeth Kaijuka-Okwenje as “‘Elizabeth Okenje.” We take this opportunity to offer our sincere apologies to both Elizabeth and her husband. Mr. Benon Okwenje, for the error. We regret any embarrassment caused. Editor.

One of my twins is developing faster!

I am a first rime mother of identical twins. I have noticed that one of my babies is developing faster than the other. For instance, he has started crawling while his brother can barely roll on the sofa. Why is this happening? Esther

Editor: It Is likely that your babies are both normal and each is simply developing at his/her own pace. Even though they are identical twins, remember they are separate individuals!

However, it is important to have your babies regularly assessed at antenatal clinics, especially for weight, height, general development, vaccination, diagnosis, among other important baby health checks.

In the next edition of Pregnant, our team of medical experts will feature the development and growth of twins, which should give you important information and tips.
