This month we are showing you that you can rekindle that sizzle especially during the last months of the pregnancy! More often than not as the pregnancy progresses, so does the appearance of tent-like dresses and sweat pants increase in your wardrobe. Then comes the even bigger dilemma of looking good on a night out with your girls or with your significant other!

We suggest 4 rules when dressing up for those nights out:

o Invest in a couple of tops made of slinky stretchy fabric that could take you right through to the delivery date. These will look great in the evening paired up with leggings and funky shoes, especially for a fun girl’s night out!

o For those romantic dinners, paint yourself in one colour. Susan shows you how in a beautiful Kiko Romeo kikoi dress. When you dress in one colour from head to toe the look created is one of elegance and style. It also makes you look taller and more graceful and takes the focus away from the protruding bump.

o Show a little skin – If you have gorgeous legs, show them off in a shorter skirt, if your arms are as toned as the Williams sisters, then sleeveless is definitely the way to go. Proud of your new cleavage, then try out a low cut top. We don’t recommend showing off the entire belly though ….unless you are swimming. You shouldn’t be afraid to show off your new curves, today’s style is miles away from the voluminous frocks of yester years. And don’t forget to put on some make up. Whatever works for you usually, a little foundation, eye shadow and some lipstick work wonders and highlights your features,
o Accessorize – Splurge on a few accessories, after all you’ll be able to wear them even after the baby comes. They are a great way to get more mileage out of an outfit… colorful chunky jewelry – turquoise, fuchsia etc for fun evenings, and glamorous scarves to dress up a basic top. Since belts won’t do too much for you right now, match the jewelry up with handbags of the same colour and a pair of funky shoes. Flat shoes or shoes with wide heels are more comfortable, but if you’re up to it, dress up in those heels for dinner. We don’t however recommend walking long distances on them.

So ladies, live it up a little and have some fun nights out this month!
