You are brilliant and with the energy to star. Don’t let heavy much make up blind your bosses and workmates. Nicely done subtle make-up expresses your professional prowess, and sets you up for bigger responsibility – in other words, promotion.
Making up ...
Your skin – This goes down your neck to your chest. Apply a darker shade (than your natural complexion) of concealer or foundation along the outer edges of your nose. Then, pat on a little blush up the centre. Blend edges with your fingers tips for a flawless finish. Work the foundation down to your neck and chest for a more natural look.
- Your eye – Consider light neutral colours. You can smoke your eye in a brown or purple.
- Your lip – Medium tones such as peach, brown, or mocha are worth trying. You can use-lip gloss – without glitters though.

Consider the empire dress. The waistline just falls right below the bust and smothers your curves making your bump really cute. If you are conscious about your weight, top it up with some light jewellery to draw the attention off your waistline. Allow the hairdresser to do he thing! And you are good to go.
Hairspray and nail polish: Should you or shouldn’t you?
Phthalates, found in many hair sprays and nail polishes, pause birth defects risks, says research. There is however no data that links the use of phthalates in cosmetics and human health risk. But to be on the safe side: Use phthalate-free nail polish. Polish your nails in a well-ventilated area to limit your exposure. Once the polish dries, there’s apparently little risk to your baby, since chemicals aren’t absorbed through the nails. Instead of using hairspray, which is easy to inhale, go for mousse or gel.
