The joy of birth 2

Finally the baby is in mummy’s hands. A worthy gift for all the joy and pain she has been through. It is time to celebrate!

My experience

The day she was born my life really changed. I had someone who depended on me for everything. It scared me yet I was still very happy to have her.

It’s been three weeks and life with Jazmynne keeps getting interesting. No one ever tells you exactly what to except.

I never knew you had to teach your baby how to suckle.  The first time I breastfed her, I learnt that it does not work the first time you try. So we struggled to teach each other and finally got the hang of it.

Her first birth was hilarious. As I removed her clothes and deeped her into her mini-bath she looked at me like ” mama please don’t”. By the time she was actually clean I was more wet than she was. She had kicked and splashed so much I thought she would drown.

All in all; cheers to new experiences, I know I will have them with Jazmynne forever.
