    Hospital Facilities:

    Inpatient

    With a bed capacity of 176, the hospital is capable of accommodating all types of patients. The General ward bed has a bed, locker, visitors chair, and common TV Room. Private rooms have washbasins and TV. En-suite rooms are self-contained and fitted with a TV.

    Accident and Emergency unit

    Which has grown in its reputation to become one of the leading Accident & Emergency units in East and Central Africa.

     

    Dental Services

    Mater Misericordiae Hospital's Dental Care Clinic offers a full range of dental services for adults and children.

     

    Laboratory

    They have labs that provide confirmatory diagnosis and improved management of disease

     

    Natural Family Planning (NFP)

    NFP is fertility awareness, which is simply knowledge of a couple’s fertility.

     

    Day Care Procedures

    Advances in medicine and technology have accorded us the opportunity to have some procedures done without being hospitalized.

     

    Well Person Clinic

    This is a general checkup clinic for men and women

    The Hospital Physiotherapy Unit is a modern and fully equipped unit with full-time qualified and dedicated physiotherapists.

    This Unit provides hemodialysis for both in and outpatients with chronic or acute kidney disease requiring renal replacement therapy

     

    Renal Unit

    This Unit provides hemodialysis for both in and outpatients with chronic or acute kidney disease requiring renal replacement therapy.

     

    Maternity Unit:

    They have an excellent maternity unit that specializes in caring for mothers during pregnancy and childbirth

    Paediatric Unit:

    The pediatric unit is clean and safe for babies with dedicated nurses who work round the click to provide

    the best care for the babie.

    Normal Delivery Package:

    Normal Birth: 95,000

    this is inclusive of 3 days and a stay in the general ward

    Booking Rules and Processes:

    Before the due date, one is recommended to make an appointment 3 weeks prior.

     

    Payment Modes: M-pesa,cheque and cash
    NHIF Matters: Ksh 3,500 per day and clears bed fee for Civil servants from job group L-T

    Ante & Post-Natal Package:

    Their ANC packages go for 28,000 while the PNC packages go for roughly 10,000 and the consultation fee is charged at 3000

    Ante-natal Clinic Days: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Saturday 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
    Post-natal Clinic Days: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Saturday 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.

  • DELIVERY AND RECOVERY

    Obstetric/Midwifery Plans:

    If the patients want a midwife there is no extra charge for that it is inclusive of the maternity package.

    They do not offer doulas.

    Birthing Plans:

    Vaccum Births.

    General Ward: Inclusive in the package
    Shared Bays: Not available
    Private Standard Ward: Ksh 11,900 per day
    Executive Ward (Ensuite): Ksh 19,000 per day

    Morning visiting hours: Not allowed
    Lunch time visiting hours: 11:30pm to 1:30pm
    Evening visiting hours: 4:30pm to 7:30pm
