  • FACILITIES & UNITS

    Hospital Facilities:

    Maria Immaculata Hospital offers a wide range of services around the clock. As mentioned earlier, most of them are affordable. They offer inpatient and outpatient services, such as x-ray services, laboratory work, maternity services, theatre, ultrasound, ambulance services.

    Physician on Tuesday From 2 pm -5 pm
    Surgeon book appointment
    The pediatrician on Thursday from 9:00 am to 1.00 pm
    Physiotherapist Tuesday and Thursday from 2 pm
    Maternity Unit:

    They offer affordable maternity care, with experienced obstetricians and doctors who work to ensure the mother and baby are good and safe.

    They offer antenatal and postnatal care.

    Paediatric Unit:

    They have a newborn unit where a newborn is taken care of with round-the-clock nurses.

  • CHARGES/PACKAGES

    Normal Delivery Package:

    Normal delivery is  - 15,000 which includes a two-night stay in the hospital's general ward and the 1st vaccine.

    NHIF pays 70% but for civil servants they can get up to 100%

    Linda Mama is also accepted

    CS Delivery Package:

    CS delivery is 70,000   which includes a 3/4 day stay at the general ward, theater charges, and 1 review from the pediatrician.

    Out-patient Consultation Fees: 1000
    • Any added tests the obsttrician might recommend
    • Any vaccinations not listed under KEPI
    • Complications during and after birth for the baby and mother.

    Booking Rules and Processes:

    No booking required though the patient must carry their NHIF card

    Payment Modes: M-pesa, cheque and cash
    NHIF Matters: NHIF covers 70%

  • CLINICS

    Ante & Post-Natal Package:

    The ANC is held from Monday - Friday, the first clinic consultation is 2,000 inclusive of ultrasound and maternal profile and follow-up clinic is 500.

    PNC is 500 per visit.

    Baby Immunisation:

    All vaccinations under the KEPI regime are free, immunizations are done Monday to Friday.

    Ante-natal Clinic Days: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Saturday 9;00 to 12;00
    Post-natal Clinic Days: agreed with the doctor

  • DELIVERY AND RECOVERY

    Obstetric/Midwifery Plans:

    They offer obstetrician and midwifes.

    Birthing Plans:

    No vacuum births or water births.

    They do not offer epidurals.
