Pre-Marital Life – Burning Questions and Answers

Welcome to Premarital Life, the “burning” questions and answers book.

In reading through the various questions and answers, you will begin to discover how the word of God is central to our day-to-day lives as men and women, bachelors and spinsters, even in times of joy and when faced with adversity. This book will show you how to work through problems frequently encountered by Christian youth in premarital life.

The book deals with premarital questions with answers given by the members of our Christian forum as they were guided by the wisdom of the word of God. The members felt that this is a vital ministry to the Christian youth as they grapple with a myriad of premarital questions that sometimes do not get due attention during ordinary church sermons or youth seminars. Furthermore, even after sermons and seminars, young people often lack resource material to which they can quickly refer incase they are confronted with difficulties in their premarital relationships. It is our conviction that life’s problems have their answers in the Bible and that Christian youth should diligently study the word of God in order to be equipped at all times with the wisdom necessary to live a victorious premarital life.

To help break the monotony of questions and answers, the book has included valuable and helpful confessions and words of encouragement from various believers, which will help members of the Body of Christ mend their relationship with the Lord. In this ministry of questions and answers to a believer, we see the Lord (who is the word) answering questions through various servants in His vast ministry.

In Matthew 22:35 the Bible says: “One of them, an expert in the law, tested Him with this question: ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?’ Jesus replied, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…”

Also in 1 Kings 10:1-3 it is written: “When the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon and his relation to the name of the Lord, she came to test him with hard questions. Arriving at Jerusalem in a great caravan – with camels carrying spices, large quantities of gold, and precious stones – came to Solomon and talked with him about all that she had on her mind. Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too hard for the King to explain to her.”

It is through internalising and appreciating the supremacy of the word of God in all aspects of our lives that we shall be set free by the Son of man. You can trust the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth and enable you to be the person God has created you to be.

This book is suitable for young Christians who look forward to some day entering into holy matrimony. It is a treasured pocket book for every young man and woman who is getting ready to walk down the alter. The book is a ‘must have’ for every Christian counsellor since it offers a biblical approach to solving a variety of pre-marital problems that confront the youth.
